I like this one better then the one you are using for the Bear Speed Challenge. The one you entered is nice but part of it is out of the frame, this one is framed nicely. Just my opinion though.

As a fellow student of the Sub-Club I'm probably not the best to help but just a thought on how this shot could have been better (IMHO)would be to use a tripod (if taken by hand) and set the aperture to at least 20. This will increase the exposure time but would achieve better focus on the background and soften the water in the foreground. Maybe even lower the exposure time recomended by the camera to reduce the brightness of the sky. You will loose some detail of the water and probably the image of the boat but I don't feel the boat is important to the photo composition. Just go out and shoot this again with these suggestions - easy hey! ;-)

This is a good area to photograph, but this photo doesn't really draw me in. Maybe if my eyes were drawn along a river line, or the fountain was offset from center it would add a bit of interest for me.

I would like more blur on the black squares in this one. The sudden transition from dark to light disturbs my eyes a bit. Perhaps with everything in the image dark except the path and the tree? I don't know. BUT, this is some great imagination you have going here. :)
