This is a lovely landscape. But, you know, the Challenge story opf texture is (Iin my opinion) in the foreground. A judicious crop would enhance this very nice image.

Initially I rated this shot very low, I did not like this guy... on second look I asked myself why I did not like him, it's cuz he is creepy...or at least the way the shot was processed made him look that way... he is like a nightmare image, and I find it disturbing to look at him, even as I comment, granted I can't watch horror movies either, too sensitive, but in fairness to you, you have made me 'feel' nothing good mind you but I think you deserve credit for producing such an emotive image....

This image might have been better if you somehow could have captured the bridge in the background in better focus. If the camera could not do it then you might have considered eliminating it from the composition all together. I would have liked a closeup of the ice filled river in good focus for this particular challenge.

+ I love that everything is in focus. Great view on some of nature's textures.
- This photo feels a little empty; I'm missing a subject here. Perhaps you should have come closer to the rocks to bring them more into the eyes of the viewer?

nice composition. the bridge is missing (blending into the sky - perhaps you need a polarizing filter)..and the far shore to the right is too dark

Interesting concept. Not sure if I like the effects or not. Weird and interesting at the same time. I like how the blackness of the eyes flows into the surrounding, but the overall grain is a bit too strange for me.

Very pretty effect - a perfect sky behind the soaring birds. I guess that's the only way you can really show air - by its effects in holding up the birds.

Very well done. I am looking at this in the dark. Thanks, now I have the willies. The only thing I don't care for is the catch lights in the eyes. They look fake to me. They are NOT bright and shiny, just a dull afterthought. I like!
