Interesting concept for this picture. I like the background in this image. I wonder if having the background just slightly blurrier, would have been good, because as it is now, it detracts slightly from the forground. My eye seems to want to bounce around on this image. Having the face just a little less noticable would have made this a better image, in my opinin. But still a great shot! <9>

The detail on the flower is very clear and the color is lovely. I find the blurred portrait in the background a little distracting because it overshadows the smaller subject. Perhaps if more of the flower were shown, or from a different angle, the background wouldn't be so overpowering. I like the idea though, and it was nice to see something new in this challenge!

does not appear much effort went into this - and a nice old grungy phone could have been a great subject. looks like you just put it inteh driveway and smapped off a shot. i don't like the cord over the dial, and the image looks flat/dull - lighting? try a USM of 35%, radius 60 and see if that gives it more 'pop'
