What a great ordinary object image; so perfect here. I might have cropped to slide the bug a bit lower in the frame, but the cutting off of the dog's legs might have made that look worse, not better. Good image nicely shot.

We see many bug/flower shots and this is a really good example. The DOF and the detail is well done. I love how the black of the bee is the only dark tone in the shot so he really pops. I can almost feel his fuzzy body. There is a touch of a hot spot on his mid abdomen, but not enough to detract from the overall appeal of this image.
