Weird is as weird does. And this does, handsomely. I think it’s wonderful, even enchanting, because I can definitely smell a spell in the air when I look at it. And so, I like looking at it! Thank you.

The discernible detail around the center sets a worthy noir mood. The small lit up scene fulfills the promise. The two figures seem to be having an interaction that can vary from "got the time?" to "the world ends tomorrow. go home." The buildings along the street are out of central casting. I need to see this movie.
