Shuffleby NiallOTuamaComment by DougTanner: You took a different route than most people with this one; it's not so much chaos pictured as chaos implied. I like the concept, and the picture is very solid, I put this one in my top 3. |

Shuffleby NiallOTuamaComment by Mark: neat grunge look. Nice lighting, framing, etc. Looks like a touch of motion blur or something at the sleeves, but not a big deal. |

The UFO's got me!by NiallOTuamaComment by Yo_Spiff: Feedback, per your request in the forums:
I gave this a 4, I'm afraid. I didn't feel the tilt added anything to the scene. Perhaps it was because the tree took up so much of the frame that the real subject was swallowed. I think if the view had been closer to the subject, it may have had more impact and the tilt would have lent a more dramatic feel to it. If I was shooting this scene, I think I would have tried to get on the ground, close to the guy catching the Frisbee, and used the wider end of my lens for a more dramatic perspective. I like those really strong perspectives, however. |

Fight fire with... safety matchesby NiallOTuamaComment by colorcarnival: I thought this was a clever idea and the streak of light was well executed. I gave this a 6 I think because I felt that you didn't really need the matchbox in the shot and I'd like to have seen the jar with burnt matches moved more into the frame. Still tho, your commenters loved it - so what do I know? :D |

Just hangin'by NiallOTuamaComment by smardaz: I like the compositon of this image, you probably could have stopped that aperature down to 5.6 since it looks like it was late in the day, then you could have dropped the iso to 100 to get a cleaner image. At 5.6 the dof should have been plenty deep to get both the spiders in focus. I do like the blues in the sky and might have shot from a slightly lower angle to try to get more sky and less treeline. |
