Fall's Last Lanternsby BeagleboyComment by TooCool: There is too much going on in this shot for this selective desaturation to work well. I would like to see it in full color with maybe a selective muting instead of elimination of the colors that you don\'t want so much of (if that doesn\'t make sense, PM me after the challenge!)

Fall's Last Lanternsby BeagleboyComment by indigo997: these things are so cool. i like the selective color. composition seems a little weird somehow... maybe its all the unused space on the left. i'm not sure how much it really adds to the shot. i think it might also help to have the subject and the background contrast even more... have one be lighter and the other darker. |
