I'm SO glad you got some people in this shot. It gives it 110% more impact. Lovely colours and a good amount of detail even in the shadows. Choice of angle really tells us everything about the sheer size of this thing! Love the picture. This is a sequoia right?

WOW! I know it's very hard to photograph things like that, because you can't get much into frame, and you need to establish the scale of it. You accomplished the second part really well, but the photo itself is just a bit flat to me.

Pictures have been taken of these for as long as they have had cameras, so it is difficult to take a "new" picture of one. In that case the photographer must strive to take the best picture he/she can. I have no suggestions other than just think of how you could have done the picture to cause interest in the viewer. A difficult task at best. Good luck! Autool
