Duck and Forest Floorby newtune3Comment by e301: very muted light here - works well to bring out the red of the thing's (whatever you call the beak surround) face. Not a great deal of impression of texture however - which is the downside of that quality of light. Your positioning of teh duck's head in frame leaves something to eb desired for me: it's very central, and makes for an odd look to the overall composition, especially with the boidy going out of frame like that. |

Duck and Forest Floorby newtune3Comment by sfalice: I like this guy. He's bright and fun and certainly the entire image meets the challenge. The composition does seem to appear in halfs though and this is frequently a compositional difficulty. Maybe more duck and less ground cover would work well. |

Dock on the Bayby newtune3Comment by TooCool: To me, this composition is lacking something. You have leading lines but they don't lead you anywhere. There is no focal point or actual subject. It's a nice study in reflection, but that alone doesn't make it pop!
