This is such a good shot but I'm having a really hard time with the horizon being at an angle. I'm not sure if that was intentional but, to my eye, it's really distracting.

I think if the horizon was leveled and the crop done differently I would have liked this one a lot, I like the color tones and the subject and although its not a true underexposure the low lighting works. One thing that really bothers me is the buoy on the right, it looks really out of place and IMO is a big distraction and should have been left out of the shot. Good luck in the challenge.

The intriguing round thing on the right balances the rower well. The unleveled horizon adds to the mystery, as does the mist.

What's with the hole in the picture? Neat effect, but I'm not too sure if it's legal in basic.

As for the photo, I love the selective focus, but the tilted horizon distracts from it.
