Nojoqui Fallsby wbanningComment by GinaRothfels: I like both photos a lot but won't say which I prefer because viewing from my phone can give a very different impression to viewing on my computer. I guess I'll have to have a better look when my computer is switched on. |

Nojoqui Fallsby wbanningComment by streetpigeon: Terrific image, my favorite of the three. You really feel the power in the extended drop of this falls. (grammar?) The opening above is modestly restrained. The tones, in shadow and soft light, are extraordinary. Since my screen doesn't hold the entire picture at once, I have to travel from top to bottom with the water. A tour de force. |

Nojoqui Fallsby wbanningComment by jagar: This is top notch for minimal, just the right dose of light and then there̢۪s really only two things going on, that̢۪s to say rushing white water and blackness. Overall a fab picture and much better than the other waterfall shot IMO. |

Camera Hogby wbanningComment by wbanning: Originally posted by marnet: That white object in the background spoils a bit the rhythm of the image. |
Originally posted by streetpigeon: The white structure in the far background is distracting, but it kind of looks like a snout, which is apropos, in a Moby Dick way. |
Thanks for the nice comments, earlier. Regarding background...I wish the old white shed was dark wood, but it's there and I'm committed to doing this exercise SOOC. I shot with Raw + jpg, so, I would definitely do a little cloning if I was going to use this for anything else. |
