Having multiple language/spelling mistakes in so very few words and on the COVER of a book is something I can't forgive. I'd never buy that book, sorry.

It is a pity, though, because I like your idea. I like the simplicity of it ( a lot). I could really imagine this as a book cover - minus the mistakes and minus the dust bunnies.

If it was in color and in a landscape crop with a younger boy maybe would of scored this higher. His face is over exposed also.

For me, the xanthous hue is almost overbearing. There appears to be some sort of unfortunately smudge at the top of the mountain on the left. Yet, the composition and framing are quite good. This may have been prettier with different lighting conditions, but time may not have been your friend for that kind of capture.
