I guess the blocking out of the foreground hills and shoreline was intentional, but for me it didn't work too well. I really like the depth of the background and the detail in the sky though.

if you had kept some clean lines on the land in behind and bled the overexposure into some coloured land/sea i'd appreciate this more, as is, it just looks overexposed and washed out.

title makes the pic work, the over exposedness isn't too bad in the ghost situation either. that little speck of dirt to the right is super distracting and ruining the shot, in an expert editing challenge it would be no problem to clone that out. The little bit of land ads a bit of substance to the photo but it still lacks a narrative, It may have been more successful if the boat was just floating in a white abyss in a ghostly realm or something, as is the photo looks a lot like just an overexposed boat on a lake, but I see what you were going for.
