The Harrietby KristinaGComment by Luci11e: why did you crop out the top of the sail? imho it would have been a much better image with all the sail in there |

Portrait 1by KristinaGComment by prashant_168: Nice shot....
I would have done some skin toning on it.
since details of skin are not shown you can put small amount of glow.
Also if she has no objection then try playing with eye color ( though brown fits but never the less you can try other )
I wd see if I can edit and send |

Portrait 2by KristinaGComment by SandyP: Oh, I looove this one. I love the backlighting on her hair. And I really love the tones in this picture. It almost looks like a very expert, appropriately used acid wash on it. And again. She is breathtakingly beautiful, and looks radiant! GOOOOOD JOB! |

Portrait 1by KristinaGComment by SandyP: What I like about it is that it has that "something" that supersedes whether or not it is "technically" perfect. It captures her personality, and you have managed to make her very comfortable with you and it shows in her being comfortable with the camera. Personally, I think it is the kind of thing that is hard to teach someone. They either have it naturally or they don't. So Bravo to you. You'd never know it was your first portrait shoot. I'm thinking you prob'ly oughta have lots more in your future :) |

Portrait 3by KristinaGComment by justamistere: I love this style of lighting, with just a touch of reflective light or a small fill-in flash. That avoids some possible white-out highlights of the hair that may not have any pixels of color and then not be able to print.
The sun and a reflector is the cheapest light source. You can use an accordian-fold window sun reflector placed on dashboards of pickup trucks. "SystemPro Reflecta Disc" makes nice large circular one, like the 41" diameter 5-in-1 pack (reflective, Silver, White, Gold, combination Gold-Silver, and Translucent White) The wire frame folds down and the 4-sided cover unzips to use the reverse sides. |
