"Veuve Clicquot", when you want to see Bubbles...by doctornickComment by Skip: yes, you have achieved techical bokeh, but, to me, it is providing more of a distracting background than an enhancing one. maybe with a little more light on the bottle, and if the glass had been placed so that it isn't swallowed by the background, it would have worked. as is, it's a bit too busy. good luck! |

"Veuve Clicquot", when you want to see Bubbles...by doctornickComment by ubique: Well that's pretty clever, and I think it's what bokeh is really about (it's got to be a critical creative element of the overall impact, not just some out-of-focus crap). I'd like it even more if the bottle label had a tiny bit more of a "glow" somehow, to more closely match the "bubbles". But it's still damn good. 8. |
