I love how you made the background gradient lined up according to the overall composition. It's a nice, subtle effect that adds a lot. Again gyaban, you are the master of that background gradient!

Wonderful, Christophe. I had a sneaky suspicion this was yours. Quite surprised it didn't ribbon, to be honest. Really like this photo...the only part that made me "uneasy" is the middle sunset part. For some reason, it didn't fit in the image for me. Perhaps if it had set some more, and wasn't so prominent, it may have felt more cohesive and you would have had a more linear progression in terms of time from left to right? I'm not sure.

Anyway, it's late and I'm waffling on :) Great image and congratulations! First time I've been aware of anyone doing panorama's for challenge!

Thanks for the link Lev! This is an extract from the upcoming 1X "tutorial" book I believe. I knew I was featured in both the "standard" and "tutorial" 2011 books, but didn't know which photo they chose. Happy indeed :)
