I'm not sure to understand your reasoning. You're of course free to think what you want, but with all respect due, many photos (even achieved with no or minimal editing) are nothing that could be seen with one's eyes directly (lens baby, B&W, wide angle, fisheye, long exposure, etc.). Consequently, I don't believe that if a scene can't be seen as such with one's eyes, then it automatically isn't photography. I also don't believe photography can only depict hard cold reality, many other uses are possible. IMHO, of course.

Love the imagination, when I think of rain it would have never occurred to me to make a man shaped tree with a bird shaped pipe that has rainbow smoke coming out of it with a person with an umbrella walking by in the shot. My mind just does not work that way, but I truly enjoy seeing shots like this. Your work always impresses and inspires!

Nowadays your entries get a default Blue ribbon and an extraordinary score. And you make it look so easy. But, I understand you must be spending heck a lot of your family time to bring the picture in your brain on to the monitor. You are certainly one great photographer who has the right blend of creativity and hard work. A lot to learn from you. HUGE congrats!
