Point of View by gyabanComment by GAP2012: it may not be pure photography as in captured in one shot with no processing(but not much is these days), but its a wonderful surreal montage and beautifully done congrats :) and i speak from both a photographer and an artists point of view! |

Point of View by gyabanComment by Venser: Originally posted by gyaban: I'm not sure to understand your reasoning. You're of course free to think what you want, but with all respect due, many photos (even achieved with no or minimal editing) are nothing that could be seen with one's eyes directly (lens baby, B&W, wide angle, fisheye, long exposure, etc.). Consequently, I don't believe that if a scene can't be seen as such with one's eyes, then it automatically isn't photography. I also don't believe photography can only depict hard cold reality, many other uses are possible. IMHO, of course. |
You know I don't like what you do, but that's what makes the arts interesting. If everyone thought the same thing, it'd be boring as hell. I'll agree there are other techniques which lead to unnatural photos relative to what the eye can truly see, but for me it's the level at which it's done. This line will be different for everyone, and anyone will be hard pressed to sway me from it. But therein lies the beauty of this voting system, I'm only one vote in the average. |

Point of View by gyabanComment by Brent_S: Glad to hear you were able to hit the road to visit family Christophe, yet you still managed to come up with a nice creation with minimal time spent processing- congrats! |
