I'm also sorry for your confusion, but your association of my commenting timestamp and when I actually vote don't match up. Usually I'm not voting at the same time as commenting.

No I did not receive seven votes in the last three hours. I received four votes, when I viewed the score three hours before rollover it was on 7.04 and after you voted it dropped to 6.88. As an administrator I would expect you to be more encouraging, but encouraged is not how I feel!!

Interesting take. Kind of a polaroid feel with the border and vintage vibe with the sepia toning. I bet this looks cool up close where we could possibly see more of the photo the child is holding. Doesn't quite come across on the voting page at the scale needed to really show it.

I can relate to your feelings about a sole nitpicker failing to see the beauty in an image and doling out a low vote. Some curmudgeon hit me with a 2 on my blue ribbon Martin Parr entry. I just wonder who that could have been. I guess we all need to suck it up.

Not from you, they are not friendly constructive criticisms, you like to annoy people.

It would be great if Mita implemented an option for members to block comments from specific people. You would be on top of my list ! :)
