Well, kellmak10 you may be new to photography but you have a good eye and an excellent grasp of photographic storytelling.

So, you don't have much of a downtown. So you took what you had and told a story about your town and processed it in excellently in black & white. You've talked about a busy highway, truck traffic, train crossings and a community church, all without being cluttered or messy.

Anyhow, I'm supposed to critique your image (that's what this DPC club is for) so here goes: IMO - Don't change a thing.

Eventually the high scores will come - or not. Look up Posthumous's work for another very exciting angle at this photography obsession of ours.

Okay, good work, sorry it didn't score well. Keep 'em coming.

Interesting take on the subject. I really like using the gas pumps as a frame for the shot. Nice b&w conversion -- really adds to the feel of the shot.

I like the angle. That adds some dynamic to this...wouldn't have worked as well vertically. Your bg material choice is taking a little away from the overall presentation IMO.

Nice fruit, nice image -- nice colors. A nitpicky comment is that the orange is not oriented precisely the same as the other two fruit. (Comment only, no vote)
