Maybe it's just me (and it seems like it is), but this shot deserved a score more along the lines of 6.3 or 6.4.

+1 for cleverness in the title
+2 for excellent and creative crop/composition
+2 for beautiful imagery, quality and detail on the subject
+2 for good subject posture and expression
-1 for blown highlights on his hat

Fantastic. It's good, real good. This deserves "a longer look" from the voters. You were cheated. Part of it may be the "product placement" in the title, people didn't get it, and/or didn't think it fit perfectly with their description of he challenge.

I faved this, and I don't fav much.

ETA: Need to see more detail, sharpness, and/or focus on the coke can and the guy's face.

Yes, you probably would have done much better in the weathered challenge with this. I think many voters did not see the spiral shell as a form of a sphere. Sometimes the voters are much too literal. The image does appear a little soft, as if the focus was not quite right, or it was magnified during cropping. I do like your use of negative space here. Perhaps a little more contrast on the lighting so the effect of the shell dissolving into the blackness would be even stronger.

Now where's that branch!

Interesting looking bird. Not the pretties bird around but I like it. The colors look a little blown. The sky was not helping you out at all. Overall decent shot.

I like this, but I don't really know why. None of the individual aspects or elements works for me, but together it's interesting. Not sure about "chaotic" but certainly interesting.
