La pousetteby jagarComment by spiritualspatula: I agree about the processing- there's a very definitive look to all your BW shots. Here, the vignette does much of the heavy lifting visually. Also, good timing photographing her right as she was crossing the light colored pillar. A bit earlier or later and she would have blended into the background, but this was dead on. |

MEG by jagarComment by spiritualspatula: It's interesting how dark this image seems, even though I don't really think the average tone is all that dark. The very rich blacks make this quite the treat, however. An interesting side effect is that, for me, anyway, the image takes on a colder feel than if the midtones were more prominent. |
