This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Great mood - you can almost hear the urgent chatter from here.

2. Signature glowing monotones - I wonder if I will finally be able to replicate this now that I have a body without an AA filter?

3. Beautifully composed image.

Overall, I'm continually mystified as to how you get these shots John - do you have the power of invisibility?

Another great capture of a slice of life in an old European town. Great B&W tones that really show off the details in the cobblestone streets and architecture of the shoppes that lay so close to each other. The image grain just helps add to that feel of 'age'....of lifetimes this cobblestone street has seen.
