The most engaging photograph in the challenge. The composition, the framing, is perfect. It has the economy of a great drawing, where no mark is superfluous, and no space however empty is squandered. Beautiful tones, elegant Euclidean geometry, and a hidden narrative throbbing just beneath the skin like a heartbeat. It's like a storyboard for an indie film, with a plot development graphic built in. Alas, it's the Order of the Thumb for you, plus a 10, plus a thank you for your photograph.

Very nice photo. I appreciated the interpretation of the theme and added imagery from the shadows which are well placed in the photo as to not distract from the layout of the bricks but rather add value. It may have scored better in the shadows challenge, but many of the photos in this challenge also relied on perspective, reflection, shadows, etc. I really like this image. Keep up the great work.

This would really do well in a Shadows challenge! I see that the bricks are at right angles... but only because my mind adjusts for the perspective.

To portray "right angles" really well... I think they need to appear as 90 degree angles instead of varying degrees of angles.

But... I've been called crazy before. *grin*

If this were in a Free Study... I'd score it much higher. It's a FABULOUS image!
