Two Lane Blacktopby CoryComment by Paul: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: I like unconventional portraits and this one is no exception. What an interesting character and well photographed too. The POV, the repeating purple coloration, the long and deep shadows; all very effective. I really like that this is a posed portrait too - that is unexpected.
Critical stuff: Nothing
Overall: Original and compelling. |
