This was one of my highest marked entries. I also thought that it was very Westonian, whilst not being a standard Westonian shot, so a lot of extra points in my book. You definitely deserve 5th place after all that hard work. In the end, of all the entries, this image spoke to me most.

Really beautiful. Feels infrared and maybe it is. The colors do suggest the transitional time that is March or early spring. Why a five and not a six? I have to admit that I could easily have given this a six in a different frame of mind. For the purposes of this exercise, I won't bump it. Anyway, I feel like some more separation in the trees to make them pop a bit would have helped this along. Maybe it's the size of the image on my small screen that reduces them to a (mostly) white mass. But I'm trying to look past that.
