A warm face for such a cold day. My only issue is wish her face was a bit brighter, she is basically darker than the rest of the photo so I keep seeing my eyes wander to the highlight on her coat etc. Maybe a tighter crop, or dodge/burn type of thing to help bring out her face, and maybe lower the focus on the snow around her.

I'd be willing to bet you were working on the layers challenge when you captured this beauty. I thought about this photo well after I voted on it last night. I got up this morning thinking about it... wondering why it left an impression on me. I came back to look at it again to see if I might be able to learn from it. Did you use on or off camera flash? Diffused?

Yupp - Symmetry's right! Fisheye on a full-frame? The image itself is very cool and interesting. The fantastic setting however, leaves me thirsty for wanting to see more details. Not sure if you're constrained by the lens itself or by the 300KB limit on dpc uploads, but feels like the details are a bit smudged on this pic - would love to see this at full resolution and marvel at it. The colorful jackets of the people at the bottom are also distracting a little bit, but I'm sure you couldn't have asked them to leave :P Nice capture. If you could do this again, it would be awesome if you could take some 9 pics and stitch them together to give you a similar view with a lot more details and maybe print it up wall-size :)
