I like this photo but it looked flat to me. I opened it in Photoshop and it looked better making me think that you saved it with a color profile that didn’t work on the web. I don’t know much about color spaces but I think you lost something in the translation.

Good subject, nicely cropped. I'd have saturated the reds and yellows as much as 40-60% (Maximum without noticeable oversaturation effects) with a little decreased brightness in the saturation to bring out more vibrant building colors and give it a more "New England" look.

You picked a tough one given how well known this subject is. I feel the color is flat rather than soft, but I'm afraid (other than waiting for a less overcast day) I don't know how it could be improved from a technical standpoint. Composition is o.k. though the horizontal seems off. Wheel lacks emphasis due to lighting and lack of sharpness. (Just my opinions, throw me a raspberry if you don't agree.)
