Memories2.jpgby Ten13Comment by Koriyama: Hi, Brian,
This one is clearly better than the original. A few points stick out.
1) The overall brightness suits the image better.
2) The richness of the wood is more obvious.
3) The shadow has a more distinct shape.
Better. |

Memories of my Grandfatherby Ten13Comment by tfaust: I still remember this scent from my Grandfather. I like your subject, but it would be better if the slight line of glare could have been eliminated. I wonder if it would have helped to bounce the light? I like the shadow the bottle casts. |

Memories of my Grandfatherby Ten13Comment by dagaleaa: This brings back memories of my grandfather too, and every male school teacher I ever had back in the 70's.....they all received several bottles of this stuff as student teacher gifts!! |

Memories of my Grandfatherby Ten13Comment by banmorn: The wood works well here this is very good but I would like to see the Background a bit brighter to get the full effect of what starts out to be a great shadow. The focus at the top of the subject appears a bit soft. Nice effort. |

Memories of my Grandfatherby Ten13Comment by frisca: I think I would have liked a little more light on the bottle, or maybe a greater exposure would have brought this shot out. As it is, I think its a bit too dark and the white of the bottle appears too yellow to be very appealing. I like the simple composition though. |

Memories of my Grandfatherby Ten13Comment by neenee1999: Aww my dad wore this too, brings back wonderful memories, this is a good shot, some may say the lighting is too dark, but I see that you are portraying a memory here so dim lighting IMHO is definitely called for. |
