"The War to end all Wars"by GrandmaEMTComment by crabappl3: Too many parallel lines here. I might have put the gun at an angle as well as the framed object, this would contrast the layout of all the newspapers. Good sepia tone to set the mood. 6 -danny |

"The War to end all Wars"by GrandmaEMTComment by Rooster: this a great moody time pice! I hope that made sense. I LOVE the button in the middle as well. The title is excellent and makes the shot fit the challenge perfectly! The news articles on the various wars that have happened since the "war to end all wars" is great. Really nice shot. |

The Cambridge Eclipse Photography Guide : How and Where to Observe & Photography Solar/Lunar Eclby GrandmaEMTComment by GrandmaEMT: I took some left over building material, pillars for a front porch, and laid them on the side. Then I place a cloth behind the opening, but left room to shine a light thru it. The inside of the pillars was all rough and pitty. I was amazed at what the photo looked like after I took it. This was a case of taking a picture and finding a title to fit it. I wonder how many did it that way instead of finding a title and setting up the picture to match.
Thanks for all your comments. I did think I should have more on the right and bottom but there was another pillar there that had to be cut out to make it look like a fake eclipse. |
