Comment by Chipper:
I'd like to see the original sculpture: this seems a bit dull. Not enough contrast in the lighting.

Comment by Jinjit:
The sculpture itself has a very dynamic flow to it, but something in the photo make it look static.
I can't say for sure if it's the blown out whites, the point of view, the shallow contrast...
I think maybe some better editing might help. but as it is I'm afraid I don't find much great interest in this shot. 4

Interesting, and definately thinking out of the box, and I commend you for that. But I'm not sure if this would qualify as 'representation of an existing artwork'? If it is, you might get DQ'd......so, just a heads up, and good luck.

Comment by theSaj:
The model needs some powder or something... or different angle of shot. Too much shine, too much eyeshadow, and combines with the very slicked back tight hair give an almost plastic or porcelain feel. Would work great in a a large dress to mimic a porcelain doll.

The model has some attractive characteristics but the coverings on her eyes greatly detracts. (Are you in eastern europe? heavy make-up is still common there but I guess out here in the states it's consider a major "no no" in fashion. Tell her to lighten up a bit.

As for the shot...shift to your right if you can and lose the lock and metal rail. It's too distracting. Otherwise the background would be nice.

I think a deeper DOF would have worked better, otherwise a nice shot.

Good effort but if I had to have shallow DOF I think I would have preffered it the other way around - good luck

Well seen! Who would have thought to do a b/w photo in an apple challenge? not me, but this definitely works. Excellent job.

Gave it a 6. Seems kind of backwards to me. It might look better of the object was on the left, and the shadow was on the right.
