Protest in Mexicaliby cimarron98Comment by Harz_Joerg: To me this would fit better to photojournalism and for that topic it's well made: the protesters have interesting faces and look strong.
However, I don't know thing such political iamges would be shown in NG. |

Protest in Mexicaliby cimarron98Comment by inspzil: Pretty good shot. To me it looks a little bit overexposed. I think it would tone down the glare on the windows but maintain the details in the men's faces. This is a pretty photojournalistic shot and those can be found in NG as well as all the animals and stuff too. Good luck 7 |

Digital Actionby cimarron98Comment by amsmyth: Greetings from the Critique Club:
Overall this image is a little flat for me. I like the concept and it fits the challenge but it feels just a little too close. Your hand is just a bit soft and if you had "stepped back" a matter of a few inches it might have given the image a little more strength. I admire the DOF though as the impression the image gives is that you were juggling the camera in your right hand and shooting at your left. Perhaps some of that "struggle" could have been used for a bit of intensity for the image as you include more of the hand and sharpen the action just a bit with a different use of light. Thanks for the image. |

Digital Actionby cimarron98Comment by TooCool: You did capture action, and it is technically pretty good (focus, DOF, but lighting could be a little more imaginative) but it's not much to look at, not that interesting.
