A pity. The thubmnail was awesome, but the large pic is spoiled by the artifacts in the image (looks like too much compression or strong digital zoom). Try locating the tree off-centered

A nice photo. Using the rule of thirds would have made this shot even nicer.

What's good about this is the colors and the light. Outstanding. They really give a good feel for the distance between the tree and the background. What could be improved is the post processing, a lot of artifacts were created for whatever reason. I sorta like the centered composition for this one.

You've captured the stateliness of this tree very well! The contrast of colors from the tree and the hazy background are very nice. Now note the little grid pattern that can be found all over your image, especially the tree leaves and shrubs. See the little squares? This is caused by either oversharpening or from taking a small photo and making it too large. I'm not sure there is much you can do to get rid of it, except get closer to the tree and/or don't use unsharp mask. Anyway, it's too bad because this shot really works for me. The tree seems to deserve its centered position. Keep up the good work!

A pity this image quality is severely affected by the strong JPG compression. Look at all those color blocks and the area around the outside of the tree. Otherwise : Nice rich colors, the strong tree right in the middle works as well here.

This is image is very pixelated, which detracts from what otherwise is a very attractive composition and colouring.

great idea...I would not have had the tree dead center of the shot

Pretty colors, nice lighting. I think the picture would be more interesting if the tree in front were off center a bit.

Hmmm... Definitely a nice photo, but it is only really given grace by the title, isn't it?
