I love the image... but the subject ... the "point of interest" is in the center... quite away from the corners of the image. Perfect for a "Rule of Thirds" challenge, actually...

I had to stare at this image for a few minutes at least and I still don't know what exactly I'm looking at. Interestingly edited and the little ladder thing is cool, I sometimes like mystery narratives but this feels too staged for that. I really do need to stay tuned for the next episode, unless i'm being a dolt and really missing the point here.

Great portrait. I like the shallow depth of field and the darker background. Red was a nice choice. I do find the glare on the upper lip somewhat distracting. Perhaps you could have done some cloning or something to remove that. You did a very nice job controlling the light on the glasses.
