Awesome image, but does not appear to be a correct use of the technique... as it appears to be a ride or moving object that is moving the camera and photographer and subject against the background -- vs. a stationary photographer panning to track a moving subject...

the lighting is really off here, i think a bounce coming in from the left hand side might've helped, it's tricky with the little lamp though. It might've been better if her legs were crossed and she was just on the floor, the tidiness of the candles is a little off putting as well, things like that and the minimal amount of props give the photo that super staged feel which can be ok sometimes but I don't think it works here. Everything above the table works really well and I enjoy it a lot. Not a bad shot!
