As I said in my original comment (in spite of giving you a 7), it is what I guessed it to be. You weren't motion panning (tracking a moving object with the camera from a fixed position). You were moving WITH the subject on the merry go round or whatever that is... so you were both "still" relative to each other.

So it's a GREAT image, but one that failed to implement the technique required. Oh well, congrats anyway on the ribbon.

Ok well I'm guessing this shot will win, I don't know how you got her looking so comfortable, with a cup of tea, but I'm pretty sure there is nothing in there. But what bothers me is her hair is perfectly still, how can that be, when she is whizzing around!

This was a special challenge and I can't complain. On the other hand I must say that I'm really proud of my image and I don't understand how I could get so many low votes. And above all my score dropped 0.15 in the last few hours. All I can say is an italian sentence I already used before: l'invidia è una brutta bestia :)
