Ha! If thoughts popped up in a speech balloon all the truths people hide then we'd all be honest all the time or someone would invent a device/drug to quash that ability:-) The cat in the business suit gets the point across very well - one can say one thing swearing it's the truth with a raised hand but the thoughts revel the truth. Two critiques: I think most speech bubbles are white so the black looks a bit odd. I understand why you did it because it pops off the backdrop more and the plate is white so that would get washed out. The backdrop is rather odd with so many transition fades in tone that it becomes a bit distracting. I think a solid tone would have made for a cleaner presentation - especially if your main subject can visually pop off the background more because of dynamic contrast.

I look at this image and am reminded of a classical painting. Unfortunately, for the life of me I cannot remember what it is called. Very nicely done... you have managed to capture an image that could readily pass for a painting.

Very delicate, and quite lovely. Just love the tones and colors in this dying rose. Wish there was a smidge more detail in the snow encrusting the rose, but that's a minor nit :)
