You've captured some really nice details and textures seen in the withered rose. The ice crystals coating the rose does give me the feel of chill and cold in the air. But being honest, the ice and the white backdrop speaks more strongly of winter then of autumn. I have a feeling that many in your audience would classify this as an image that speaks more Winter than Fall. It's a good strong composition that I feel would have shown better if the challenge had been Winter.

A dream of Vermeer doing photography, with an even more beautiful girl. Happy to witness this in its anonymity, before the many times people will quote it.

Challenge-wise, probably the only image where the grain works.
