i could not get my head around the quote so i checked out emil cioran ..
a very sad individual if ever there was one .. someone who seemed to have no love or appreciation of the beauty and awesomeness this world has to offer .. and the wonderful lessons we can learn here .. or the growth we can achieve .. and the incredible power of the human spirit ..
here's a quote i found that demonstrates his beliefs ..
�The fact that life has no meaning is a reason to live � moreover, the only one.�(Emil Cioran)" ..
unless there's a meaning more subtle than the one that he states .. then i'd be saying get out the razor blades ..

anyway .. your image evokes to the nth degree the feelings i got when reading his words .. so dark and depressing .. without hope ..

also the boxed in feeling that solitude can give (if its something to avoid rather than to welcome) you have portrayed here with great creativity .. this is an image that reaches out to all who suffer .. who see no hope .. because in those places they feel very much alone ..
i'm giving you my highest vote because this is amazing . :)
