I really like the composition of this shot - it's got a nice balance of vertical and horizontal lines. I'm not a big fan of the overall color cast and the plate seems over exposed. The reflection on the right 9 is a distraction.

I like the idea, but there is just something missing in the presentation. I think that you have lost too much detail in too many areas of the image. The white of the plate seems bright and blown while the deep darks appear underexposed. This one leaves my mind's eye longing to see more of what was there, thus passing along an uncomfortable feeling. 5.

I almost want to see this shot with a different crop. I think the negative space on the left could be cropped out a bit and some dodging on her back and face to draw your eye to her. Right now my eye pulls left to the background. You did make the right choice to go b/w and it's a lovely setup.

Very interesting. I have looked at this a few times now - it has a Wondering aspect to it. A story is in this and Heida always tells stories in her images. With the advantage of Advanced Editing, I would have cloned out her swim suit tan across her back, to take her out of modern times and make her less of this earth. I expect you are also hearing comments about higher contrast... for this challenge yes - but as a lovely image, it's just right. 8.
