I'm getting really interested in focus stacking and stuff along those lines but I still have no idea how to do it effectively. Did I mention I really like this shot? I've seen the dragonfly stay that still. The wind or a breeze is the usual problem. I've got to try this on a calm day.

I was thinking the same thing, ' how did you get this critter to stay still' I tried to shoot a dragonfly the other day, they were all around this lake, but not one of them stood still for longer than a micro second.

Congrats on the blue. Wonderful shot. I love the expression on its face. That is incredible that you could get all those shots to enable focus stacking. (I have a dead dragonfly and I doubt that I'd ever get this focus.)
