the Beautiful Line created by motion blur. Using motion to create shape or line is a very abstract process. and from this abstraction leaps a new representation, a fairy creature out to sea.

Fantastic idea and wonderfully presented...or should I say executed;-P Lighting and tones are well done keeping the attention focused on the main subjects and action happening. Love that one can see a few scratches on the wood and the metal dust to further strengthen the imagery of the knife sawing through the fork tines. Kudos to your husband for sawing the fork tines off for you to accomplish this unique shot! I wonder if this was the only fork that was cut or did it take a few times to get the desired result? Great work!

Thanks for the comment, Mary Ann. This was in my top 2. It was everything I thought a Window Light image should be, not to mention it immediately called to mind my grandmother who I grew up with. From the hands to the measuring cup it was a flashback to childhood watching her bake in her kitchen. How this stayed out of the top 10 I'll never know.
