Hmm, now I have looked at them side by side I am not so sure. This looks quite flat when viewed along side the original - I am on the fence.

First edit is better than the reedit. It looks more natural, and you lose some detail in the white feathers in the reedit. A beautiful shot, regardless, I can feel him flapping his wings. You got robbed on the score. The only thing I would try to tweak is to attempt (it may not be possible) to get a bit more detail into his black head.

Ann Yes it did. Terrapins are quite agile, they will climb up and onto many things, logs, rocks, hippo butts :)
