Bronzed Body Builderby HarveyGComment by bohemka: Nice idea, but I think with a subject such as this you really needed to crank it down. If just the highlights of her muscles and bracelet popped through while other parts of her body faded away (like the hair is starting to do) I think that would have been stronger for this challenge. Cool photo though.
I'm not voting, but that's what I see here. |

Fly Angleby HarveyGComment by HarveyG: Hi J, no offense taken. I appreciate ALL comments, "sugar coated" or "harsh". They are all useful to me! It was a love it/hate it shot judging by the <5 and >5 votes. Message edited by author 2010-09-15 10:47:42. |

Fly Angleby HarveyGComment by sarampo: Hi Harvey!
Not meant to be rude, sorry :-S Sometimes I comment too quickly.
I do think both your outtakes are better than the submitted version, the first one has a great leading line, with help from the smoke trail, and the other has very good composition. I'm also sometimes torn between which version to choose, but as I know that I'll never find out how the outtake would do, I tend not to worry much ;-) |

Fly Angleby HarveyGComment by HarveyG: I must say it's nice to get a few comments, even from Sarampo, albeit harsh. I was torn over submitting tight cropped or subject free shots.
Maybe I should have submitted this.
or this
and then gotten a "Subjects are too far away" comments :) |

Fly Angleby HarveyGComment by sarampo: The crop is too tight, you cut the top and bottom parts of the glider, and the subject is not very interesting. |
