Hi J, no offense taken. I appreciate ALL comments, "sugar coated" or "harsh". They are all useful to me! It was a love it/hate it shot judging by the <5 and >5 votes.

Not meant to be rude, sorry :-S Sometimes I comment too quickly.
I do think both your outtakes are better than the submitted version, the first one has a great leading line, with help from the smoke trail, and the other has very good composition. I'm also sometimes torn between which version to choose, but as I know that I'll never find out how the outtake would do, I tend not to worry much ;-) |

I must say it's nice to get a few comments, even from Sarampo, albeit harsh. I was torn over submitting tight cropped or subject free shots.
Maybe I should have submitted this.

The crop is too tight, you cut the top and bottom parts of the glider, and the subject is not very interesting. |
