Dance above the Skyby vadviragComment by dix_paul: I like the composition, although I think it would be more pleasing to the eye without the 'stars', just the reflection on the black |

Dance above the Skyby vadviragComment by kiwiness: Nice pic, well taken technically. The lighting is spot on and I like the way you've included all that negative space in the direction the ballerina is moving (8) |

Alone on the playgroundsby vadviragComment by vadvirag: Thank you all for your helpful comments, this challenge taught me a lot.
Some reflections on your comments: It was really hard to catch him paying no attention, he started waving and smiling when he saw the camera. Next time I will pay attention to spaces and not-too-much-centered compositions. Of course, I needed PS, in order to get rid of some colours. The B&W idea came from the environment which was almost absolutely grey. Anyway, I am not sure about it now. Maybe the kid being coloured against all greys would be also an expression of being alone-coloured in this colourless world. |

Alone on the playgroundsby vadviragComment by LucidLotus: Great capture. Light is just right, I like the use of color contrasts. The child being black & white really separates him from the 'normal' enhancing that solitary or lonely feeling. I think him being on a piece of playground equipment also highlights the fact that he is alone, no friends to play with. Very nice. 8 |

Alone on the playgroundsby vadviragComment by willem: I like the tones and how the boy is playing clearly on his own, no attention to the world around him. A bit more emptry space around him (if possible?) would have made it stronger. |
