Wonderful picture - one of the best in the challenge, IMO. Beauty, innocence, endearing, charming, engaging, wonderful eyes, great expression, all captured so very, very well.
After reading LoVi's comment, I think she has a point. For me, I really only look at the right 2/3 of the image. You could easily lose to the left of her hat (and the "candy cane"), and put the red in the greeting below her.

This one wants me to say something. Because this is already so excellent.....I can be a little picky? Yes? Her eyes pop so brightly and with such appeal...then my eye travels done to the fuzz below her nose and I inadvertently rubbed my own cuz it tickles...lol..then I try to wonder what the white and red candy stripe thing REALLY is.... ????? and last I see the text. There is something disconcerting about this image and I can't quite figure out what....probably composition. I would like to see the same girl posed the same way.....lower on the page, less white fuzz...lose the "candy cane" and put the text under her.....any one have any thoughts? If this was tweaked a bit....it would be in first place. Still high score. I rarely do this...usually I just leave a positive comment but I think this photog knows how good the model is and would appreciate an honest opinion to make her work even better! Merry Christmas!
