This child has on no makeup. Will upload the original when I get on my main computer. I am assuming the low key with Topaz gave the illusion that she may he wearing makeup. I was going for the renaissance colors which was the reason for the high saturation.

campy. the Catherine wheel transformed into an orb suggests some complex allegory we will never know.

Why would you title a photo of a little girl all made up with adult makeup "innocence"?

It looks over processed to me. I would have preferred to see if without the skin softening, looks too saturated as well around the eyes and mouth. The strong vignette on the left side is to strong. Feel it would have been better as open space. If the vignette was done to pull the eye to the fan, I question whether that was really needed. The fan is pretty cool as is, original as well. Might have been better just to crop it tighter on the left side and remove the vignette altogether.

All that said, I really like this image for what I think it could be as opposed to what it is at the moment. I think its a shot I'd definitely revisit.

This had the makings of a lovely shot however the lighting just isn't right and the make-up and post processing on her face are just too much. Let her be the natural beauty she is!
