Pretty good shot - horizon line looks a little tilted to me. The image is a tad OOF and noisy, but not anything that a little PS work couldn't fix (I don't think). Overall, not bad at all.

Certainly a good scene for the challenge - but i think you need to work on ideas of composition and processing. Certainly more contrast would have helped bring out the depth of tones in the sky, and could have made the dark grey even more threatening. Compositionally - good that you haven't placed the horizon centrally as so many do, but the tree and landing stage make a very confused left-hand side of the image, especially with the smaller areas of tree intruding into frame.

lol I have the same lamp and was gonna shoot it for this challenge as wel but the bulb's burnt out. Pretty cool as far as an abstract image goes and it does have excellent clarity for what it is and the size. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <6>
