The Lurkerby CamComment by photom: Excellent rendering in B&W. The "look of determination" is superb. Would work better with some of the right side cropped off. |

The Lurkerby CamComment by Cantique: I wonder what this was like in color. While I like it this way I miss the yellow of his beak and eyes. I also wonder how he would have looked in a vertical photo. All this said I still think this is a fine image and I rate it a 7. |

The Lurkerby CamComment by jaredldr: Beautiful bird, and nice use of B&W. The subject could have been shot at a different angle or off center to add some spice to the composition.
Good luck. |

The Lurkerby CamComment by toad32: Brave move going with b&w...I really like how it sets off the head...and the highlights on the body. Excellent image. |

The Lurkerby CamComment by dutch_dan: Great shot, maybe a slightly different crop would work even better, a little of the righthand side maybe... |

Doggie Heavenby CamComment by GeneralE: Is that East Bernard or Saint Bernard? : )
Really nice, with both the funny cloud and well-defined sun rays -- I've been working on capturing those.
I also got a recent shot of a dog-shaped cloud, but I think mine looks more like a Schnauzer. |

Shade for twoby CamComment by Blackdog: I like this a lot. What a fabulous scene. The greyscale gives it extra apeal in my view. The composition culd have been a little better I think. The postion of the sailboat directly above the parasol? Might have been better to one side. One other thing is that the horizon is not quite level, it slopes slightly down to the right. With this type of shot it must be absolutely level. But well done for capturing it. |

Rockport , tell your friends.by CamComment by soccerdad: Nice detail on the feathers. It might have been better with a little fill flash, as it looks like you nailed the expression on the seagull perfectly. |
